Information Collection

VastCast Media, Inc. may collect or receive information about each person who registers for membership with VastCast Media, Inc.  Information collected is used only for the specific purpose for which it was collected and will not be used or ay other purpose other than that stated in this privacy statement.  Information collected includes first and last name, e-mail address, street address, home/business/cellular/fax/alternate phone numbers, gender, age, occupation, interests, total combined household income, revolving/home/automobile debt balances and associated interest rates, business services provided, past advertising modalities, budget, company name, first and last name of contact, billing information, travel/hotel/vacation preferences, general health status, interest level in business opportunities and estimated time and monetary investment levels of said business opportunities, as well as the desired income levels of the same. 

We also obtain information through third parties for whom VastCast Media, Inc. has a relationship with.  The purchase or acquiring of any e-mail addresses from third parties is always proceed by assurances that all of the individuals whose names are contained in a list have given their express permission for their personally identifiable information to be sold, transferred, and/or shared with those doing business with the third party.

Browsing our Website

When you browse and have not registered for any online service you browse anonymously.  Personal information -- such as your name, address, phone number or e-mail address -- is not collected as you browse.  However "cookies" are used to collect information about how our site is used.  Information, such as the server your computer is logged onto, it's IP address, your browser type (for example, Netscape or Internet Explorer), and whether you responded to a banner ad or e-mail is collected and tracked in aggregate.  This information is used for the purpose of measuring response rates to banner ads and e-mail offers.

In order to provide you with a particular product or service online, we will request that you provide us with personal information, including your e-mail address, for purposes of correspondence, site registration, making a purchase, or participating in online surveys.  This enables us to provide an online product or service to you in an efficient manner.

Qualified Travel Lead:  Information collected includes first name, last name, e-mail address, street address, home/business/alternate phone numbers, interests, travel/hotel/vacation preferences.

Qualified Life Insurance Lead:   Information collected includes first name, last name, e-mail address, street address, home/business/alternate phone numbers, gender, age,   occupation, interests, revolving/home/automobile debt balances, and general health status.

Qualified Business Opportunity Lead:   Information collected includes first name, last name, e-mail address, street address, home/business/alternate phone numbers, interest level in business opportunities, best time to contact, age, estimated time investment, monetary investment, and desired income levels.

Client/Advertising Inquiries and/or Client Account Creation:  Information includes company name, first and last name of contact, e-mail address, street address, business/cellular/fax/alternate phone numbers services provided, budget, past advertising modalities, billing address.

Client Quotation:   Information collected includes company name, first and last name of contact, e-mail address, street address, business/cellular/fax/alternate phone numbers, services provided, budget, past advertising modalities, billing address. 

Collectively the information above is used for the purpose of qualified lead generation, e-mail marketing campaign development/deployment, website development/design, and/ or facilitation of online purchase and shipping of goods and services from independent online and offline retailers and service providers.  We will not use the information you provide to us for any other reason than that which you submitted it for.  For example, if you are submitting information for the purpose of receiving a mortgage quote we will not use the submitted information to add you to our e-mail newsletter service.  Regardless of later updates or changes to this privacy statement we will never use information submitted under our current privacy policy in a new way without first providing you the opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use.

   If you have signed up for our e-mail newsletter service, we may, and you should assume that we will, sell your information to our affiliate partners so that they can send you future e-mail offers that may be of interest to you.  If you do not wish to have your information sold, then do not sign up.  The affiliate partners we may sell your personal information to have different privacy policies than ours.  We do not sell data to any affiliate partner that does not a) have an easily accessible privacy policy posted on their website/s disclosing their information collection and dissemination practices, b) agree to maintain similar practices to VastCast Media, Inc., with respect to protecting and securing data, and c) signed an acknowledgement confirming that they have read and understand our privacy practices and data security measures.  Only data procured or submitted for membership to our e-mail newsletter service would potentially be shared or sold to outside affiliates or partners.  The types of affiliates and partners we may share our subscription information with are e-mail marketers who own a well maintained opt-in subscriber database of their own and who are seeking to develop that database.  

We may also send you e-mail offers if you have provided your e-mail address to a third party and have actively chosen or requested, on an opt-in basis, to receive e-mail offers from other parties. These offers may be based on information you provided in your initial transaction with us, in surveys, from information that may indicate purchasing preferences and lifestyle, as well as information available from external sources, such as census bureau data.  These e-mail offers come directly from us.  You can opt out from receiving e-mail offers as described below in the section headed, "Declining E-mail Offers".

When we send e-mails to you, we may be able to identify information about your e-mail address, such as whether you can read graphic-rich html e-mails. If your e-mail address is html-enabled, we may choose to send you graphic-rich html e-mails.

Keep in mind that if you take advantage of an offer from a business partner and become their customer, they may independently wish to send you offers.  In this case, you will need to inform them separately if you wish to decline receiving future offers from them.

Our goal is to deliver offers to people who will find them of value.  Offers are developed and managed under strict conditions designed to safeguard the security and privacy of our members as well as the information they submit.  Product and services offered through VastCast Media, Inc. are scrutinized for any content that could be perceived as objectionable or off-color.   Because individual tolerance levels vary so widely amongst people, all potential product campaigns are tested via small random samples and feedback is monitored.  Products that elicit negative responses during testing are deferred from further distribution.

Procedure for Editing/Changing/Updating Information Collected

To gain access to personally identifiable information kept in a retrievable form by VastCast Media, Inc. for the purpose of editing, changing or updating said information submit an e-mail to support@vastcastmedia.com with a subject line that reads, “Information Update and Disclosure Request” Be sure to include in the body of the e-mail a valid telephone number and best time to call.  You will be contacted via telephone within 72 hours by VastCast Media, Inc. for the purpose of verifying your identity and authorizing the release of personally identifiable information for reasons you see fit.

Any changes, updates or edits to your information should be included in a separate e-mail with a subject line that reads “Information Changes”  List  in the body of your message the fields that need to be updated and the data that should be contained in them using the following format as an example:  telephone:  555-555-5555.  As an alternative you may fax a copy of requested changes to 702-233-1222 provided a fax cover sheet is included that eludes to the sensitivity and confidentiality of information contained within the fax.  Failure or refusal to follow the procedures above may result in your request being declined.

Websites where you are asked to provide a unique identifier, password, or login, require that you do so in order to be included or receive the product or service of interest.  Failure or refusal to provide requested information will deny you access to product or service of interest.

Information Protection and Security Measures

VastCast Media, Inc. is committed to online data security. All sensitive and submitted information worthy of protecting is kept in an offsite location on geographically remote servers behind locked doors and locked server cases.  Physical access to the servers at this location is limited to a single individual employee of VastCast Media, Inc. working under a binding and legal confidentiality disclosure agreement.  Operating systems of servers are password protected and require authentication.

Information about Children

We do not collect, store, or use information about children.  You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in any offer we promote.

In the course of communicating with you, this site, and the advertisements you see on it, will use "cookies" to communicate with your browser.
